The name NWA Dirt Heads takes me back to my childhood and to a man who had a significant impact on my life.
My dad was a developer, so I grew up around construction and the trades. In my early years, he would drop me off to work for one of my first bosses and mentors, Bill Weagan. Bill was an excavation contractor through and through, dedicated to his craft. He loved equipment, moving dirt, and completing a job with precision, earning him the nickname my dad had for him: “Dirt Head.” And if you knew Bill, it was a fitting title.
Bill put me to work in the dirt at a young age, teaching me not only the skills needed on the jobsite but also instilling in me the pride that comes with a day’s hard work. He was a remarkable man whom I genuinely loved and respected.
Although Bill passed away a few years ago, his influence remains with me. When it came time to name this company, NWA Dirt Heads just felt perfect. The name is a tribute to Bill and reflects where I came from, as well as the values instilled in me by those who taught me the importance of hard work in fields like land clearing services and even tree service in North West Arkansas.

My name is Neville Gough, and construction has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I grew up in the trades and have spent over 20 years working in and around construction. Today, I’m a licensed and insured general contractor in Northwest Arkansas, and I proudly own Ozark Crafted Homes, where I build and manage custom residential projects throughout NWA.
Additionally, I’m a certified A&P aircraft mechanic. While aircraft maintenance and construction might seem like two completely different fields, they share essential traits. Both require meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach to ensure everything is done correctly.
With NWA Dirt Heads, I have the chance to reconnect with something I've always enjoyed: running equipment, working outdoors, and offering land clearing services. I love moving dirt, clearing properties, and at the end of the day, reflecting on the tangible results of our efforts.
I’m not looking to grow Dirt Heads into a large excavation contractor; instead, I focus on projects where I can engage directly with property owners. Understand their vision, provide a fair price, and do my utmost to deliver quality work. I also offer tree service in North West Arkansas, which complements my approach to helping clients achieve their land development goals.
FAITH, FAMILY & DOING BUSINESS RIGHT
Outside of work, the most important things in my life are my faith and my family.
My wife and I have been blessed with six kids, so we’re a family of eight. Needless to say, life around our house is rarely quiet.
My Christian faith shapes the way I try to live, raise my family, and conduct business. I’m certainly not perfect, but I strive to be a man of God in everything I do. To me, that means being honest, treating people fairly, keeping my word, owning my mistakes, and taking care of my clients the way I’d want someone to take care of my own family.
That’s really what NWA Dirt Heads is about—providing reliable land clearing services and quality excavation contractor work without the fluff. No complicated sales pitch. No big-company runaround. You’re dealing directly with me.
If your property in North West Arkansas is overgrown, your fence line has disappeared, you need some dirt moved, a driveway cleaned up, or you're in need of tree service North West Arkansas, give me a call or send me some pictures.
In memory of Bill Weagan, a true Dirt Head.
